Terms of Service
These terms cover the Mettle website, paid memberships, and use of the Mettle Android app. If you do not agree, do not join the mailing list or pay for a membership.
Operator and support
Mettle is operated by Akash. For support, refunds, cancellation, or privacy requests, email akash@chaitonix.com or reply to your confirmation email.
What Mettle is
Mettle is a private practice system for real-life social confidence. It is not a dating app, does not match users with other people, and does not guarantee dates, relationships, attraction, or any specific social outcome.
Membership and pricing
Mettle membership is sold as a monthly plan (currently USD 9 per month) or an annual plan (currently USD 69 per year). Regional pricing may vary and the exact amount is always shown at checkout. Stripe processes payment, and taxes may be calculated or displayed by Stripe where applicable. The AI coach runs on your own AI key, which you add in the app; your key's usage is billed to you by your AI provider, not by Mettle.
Subscriptions and cancellation
The monthly plan renews every month and the annual plan renews every year unless cancelled before renewal. Until self-serve account management is live, you can cancel by replying to your confirmation email or emailing akash@chaitonix.com. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically remove refund rights described in the refund policy.
Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. In short, every plan has a 14-day refund window, no questions asked. Refunds are issued through Stripe, and banks or card networks can take several business days to post funds back to the original payment method.
Acceptable use
Do not use Mettle to harass, manipulate, exploit, impersonate, or pressure anyone. Do not submit illegal content, attempt to break the service, scrape private data, or use the product to create pickup scripts or deceptive advice. We may remove access if the service is abused.
Changes and availability
Mettle is actively developed. Features, prices, and availability may change over time; price changes never apply retroactively to an already-paid period. We will not knowingly keep charging members for a product we have abandoned; if the product is not continuing, we will communicate next steps and refund options.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, which providers we use, and how to request access, deletion, or export.
Child safety
Child sexual abuse and exploitation are prohibited. Read the public Child Safety Standards for the in-app reporting route, enforcement process, authority reporting commitment, and designated contact.
